In afternoon of May, 6th, JinYuan Prize --the award ceremony of 1St China“Seven Cubic Cup”International Personal Transport Innovative Design Contest was held in National Convention and Exhibition Center. Ma Zhongchao, the Chairman of China Bicycle Association and Yu Tao, the President of our university made speech at the ceremony, and Li Hefu, the Vice Executive President of Shanghai Industrial Economics Federation, Huo Xiaoyun, the Vice President of China Bicycle Association and Xu Yufang, the Vice President of our university awarded for the winning players.

　　The contest , of which topic was“Riding around the world under current design”, was organized by the National Bicycle Industry Information Center, Science and Technology Development Center of Shanghai Education Board, Shanghai Science and Technology Development and Exchange Center and Seven Cubic Science Part of our university, and directed by China Bicycle Association, and Shanghai Industrial Economics Federation. This contest had attracted 1189 works made by designers and students from 172 universities, 22 provinces and cities since it started from February 2017 in our school started, the finally 114 works were selected. These works were reviewed by more than 20 foreign and domestic experts for many times, and then they finally ranked 2 JinYuan Grand Prizes, 4 JinYuan Start Prizes, 4 JinYuan Best Commercial Value Prizes, 4 JinYuan Best Creative Concept Prizes and several JinYuan Prizes according to the innovation degree, design quality, market prospective, achievement transfer feasibility and function applicability. And the excellent works were shown in 27th China International Bike Exhibition.

　　In the ceremony, President Yu Tao expressed that the purpose of this design contest is to achieve three integrations: namely, the integration of creative and manufacture industry, of higher universities and enterprises, and of green environmental protection idea and scientific technology innovation. He hoped that through this contest everyone can feel that the technology and creations can make life better. The Seven Cubic Science Part of our university sponsored this design contest, which was helpful for team cooperation and practice of relevant disciplines, and for development of advantages of intellectual resources of universities and technical resources of industry enterprises, so as to achieve win-win for talent training of university and development of traditional bicycle industry. After that, the achievements of this contest will be further deepened and transferred in the Science Park, meanwhile, displayed at the Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Base of China Bicycle built by our university and China Bicycle Association together.

　　JinYuan Prize --1st China“Seven Cubic Cup”International Personal Transport Innovative Design Contest is one important measure after our university established the China Bicycle Intelligent Manufacturing Demonstration Base and China Bicycle Innovation Design Center with China Bicycle Association together in April, 2016. This contest aimed to carry out the China Strategy“Made in China 2025”, push university to cooperate with enterprise, integrate production and education, enhance the selection and training of application-oriented talents in advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry, and combine the resources of higher university and social, so as to explore a new education mode for talent training, science innovation, team building and commutation.

　　The excellent works of this contest were displayed on the 27th CHINA CYCLE from May 6 to 9. More than 200 students from Event Planning Department of School of Economics and Management and School of Applied Arts Design volunteered in this exhibition and gained lots of praise.
