Shanghai Second Polytechnic University signed the cooperation agreement with Shanghai Disneyland Resort in the Academic Exchange Center on Jan. 6, 2017. Ding Xiaodong, the vice-Director of Shanghai Education Commission, Yu Tao, the President of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, Wu Peidong, the Deputy Secretary of CPC and Vice-President, Xie Huaqing, the Vice-President and Guo Weicheng, the General Manager of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, Tian Langyue, the Vice-President of Labor Resource and Wang Kai, the Vice-President of Public Affairs attended this signing ceremony.

Ding Xiaodong pointed out that the cooperation between university and enterprise is the important path to develop the resort under assistance of Shanghai education, and also the request of promoting the construction of high-level applied type university. He hoped that both parts can cooperate sincerely on innovation base to explore the Shanghai-style cooperation mode so as to provide demonstration for other colleges and universities. Guo Weicheng expressed that Shanghai Disneyland Resort will cooperate with the local government and education institutions actively, and push the talent education and training and support the further development of service industry of Shanghai and Yangtze River Delta region under the help of optimized practice and global resource of Disneyland.

Yu Tao indicated that such cooperation is the important tradition of our university, and also the inner requirement for school-running orientation of“career-oriented higher education”. As the university closest to the resort, our university will take the opportunity of agreement signing to deeply push such cooperation, and actively make our efforts to prompt the success of Disneyland resort in China and the Chinese student working in the resort as well.

Under witness of Ding Xiaodong and other leaders from two parts, Xie Huaqing signed the cooperation agreement with Shanghai Disneyland Resort, and Yu Tao and Guo Weicheng jointly inaugurated the cooperation practice base.

Shanghai Second Polytechnic University is one of the first batch of universities which cooperate with Shanghai Disneyland Resort. Our cooperation started from 2014. The Shanghai Disneyland Resort Graduates Employment Innovation Base Project was established by Shanghai Board of Education, which was declared by our university as the major project in 2015. Our university develops complete talent training cooperation with Shanghai Disneyland Resort, supports the resort to carry out recruiting preach, hosts recruitment starting ceremony of Shanghai Disneyland Resort and organizes talent training meeting, and thus we build the bridge and platform for deep cooperation between Shanghai Disneyland Resort and University, and provide a lot of excellent graduates.

And Lu Lili, the vice-Director of International Office of Shanghai Board of Education and relevantpersons-in-charge of our functional offices and departments also attended.
