Our university held three excellent international academic front-tier report in the morning of December, 5. This report, which was organized by CCF and supported by Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, invited more than 150 persons to attend, including Academician Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov, the Vice President of Russian Academy of Engineering, Mr. Lida Xu, the Foreign Member of the Academy, Gu Ning, the Director of CCF Collaboration Computation Committee and professor of Fudan University, teachers from Shanghai University Collaboration and Information Service Committee, leaders of our university, teachers and student representatives of Computer Science and Technology Department of our university.

Before this event, President Yu Tao met with Mr. Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov and his delegation and Professor Gu Ning, and discussed the intentional cooperation field in the future with Russian Academy of Engineering. And the Vice-President Xu Yufang, Qiao Liqing, the Director of International Office, Professor Zhu Zhigang and Professor Tan Wenan from College of Engineering also attended this meeting.

In the event, Xu Yufang made welcome speech, and Professor Tan Wenan, the person-in-charge of key disciplines of School of Computer and Information Engineering hosted this event. Academician Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov introduced the features and advantages of electronic mass media; Academician Lida Xu made an excellence speech on latest development of thing Internet field; Professor Gu Ning introduced the current development of CSCW under combination with social computing research of Fudan University and analyzed the hotpot issues and future development direction of the field of scientific collaboration computing of computer. The present teachers and students were highly interested in these three reports, and obtained satisfied answers and guidance for relevant questions they asked.

In the afternoon, the College of Engineering organized Sino-Russia International Cooperation Meeting, and Professor Zhu Zhigang from this college, Jiang Chuanqun, the Director of Human Resources Office and members of group made further discussion about cooperation with the experts from Russian Academy of Engineering. Zhu Zhigang, Tan Wenan and Jiang Chuanqun made an introduction about the whole condition of College of Engineering, construction situation and study features of key disciplines of Computer Science and Technology and the smart bicycle project. Mr. Leonid Alekseevich Ivanov and Mr. Lida Xu combined with the relevant researches of Russian Academy of Engineering to make a further comment, and expressed the willing and intention of further cooperation.

This event was supported by leaders at all levels of our university and the departments of School of International Exchange, Research Administration Office and International Office, and prepared by the teachers of discipline group. Additionally, this event also made a good foundation for discipline construction and international cooperation and communication in the future.
