On the morning of Oct. 16, Mr. Don Cook,Executive Director for Marketing & Strategic Initiatives and Mr. David Moore, Assistant Vice Presidentfor International Education of Broward College (BC) visited our university to discuss about recruitment, market promotion, public relations and so on. Wu Peidong, DeputySecretary and Vice President, met the visiting guests. Heads of International Office, Recruitment and Employment Office,Academic Affairs Office and College of International Vocational Education attended the meeting.

　　DeputySecretary and Vice President Wu Peidong welcomed the American guests. He briefly introduced the basic situation of recruitment and enrollment of students, student employment and education objectives. He mainly introducedthe enrollment and the characteristics of students for the joint education programs. Both sides discussed about the enrollment plan in 2018, application for new programs, the graduation ceremony for the first batch of graduates, the work arrangements for the next stage of joint education programs and reached a certain consensus.

　　After the meeting, the delegation went to theCollege of International Vocational Education and communicated with the heads of the College and program coordinators on some specific affairs in the joint education programs between the two sides like teaching management and network teaching resources on the American side.
