On June 24, 2018 Graduation Ceremony of SSPU International Students was held. Chair Song Baoru and Vice President Mo Liangjin attended the ceremony. Qiao Liqing, Director of International Office, Xu Haiping, Director of Academic Affairs Office, Chang Xiaoyong, Director of Student Affairs Office, Xu Ling, Director of Graduate Affairs Office, Gu Xiankai, Secretary of Party General Branch of School of Economics and Management, Sun Yan, Deputy Director of Office of International Student Affairs and heads of relevant offices and schools attended the ceremony as well. Teachers, representatives of administrative staff, graduating international students and their parents, and other international students were present.

Deputy Director Sun Yan briefed about the graduating international students’ degree granting and their study and life at SSPU in the past four years. There were 6 graduating international students from Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Laos in 2018, embodying the development of international student education in terms of comprehensive quality and nationalities.

Graduate representative Enkhbold Oyundari from Mongolia first delivered a speech in which she expressed her heartfelt gratitude to SSPU leaders and teachers for their unreserved concern and unconditional love for all the international students in the past four years. Teacher representative Zhang Qing of School of Economics and Management congratulated the graduating international students and wished them a bright future in her remark. Parent representative sincerely thanked SSPU and teachers on behalf of all the parents.

Chair Song addressed the graduation ceremony on behalf of SSPU. He wholeheartedly congratulated the graduating international students on their successful graduation from SSPU for a new start of life, and thanked all teachers and staff in international student affairs department for their devoted work. Chair Song spoke highly of the students’ unwavering endeavor to conquer all the difficulties in life and study to fit in and grew with SSPU, and of their active participation in various Shanghai and national competitions and fruitful achievements. He wished that the students would become a friendship messenger and backbone force of their home countries, contributing to the exchange between China and their homelands.

Chair Song granted each of the graduating international students the diplomas and certificates of degrees, and took photos with them. Vice President Mo Liangjin presented graduation souvenirs to them.
