Recently,
Fellow of the Royal Society Professor Amilra Prasanna de Silva from Queen's
University of Belfast, UK, visited SSPU and guided the front-line teaching and
research at College of Arts and Sciences.
Prof. AP Silva gave a wonderful class at general core course “Chemistry
and Human Life” whereby the attending youth teachers obtained a global vision
of how to teach a high quality general course. He also exchanged ideas with the
youth teachers in College of Arts and Sciences who were greatly inspired by his
profound knowledge, insightful views and professional guidance in their
scientific work and career development.
