On the morning of Oct. 30, signing ceremony between SSPU and University of Ruse, Bulgaria, was held at Academic Exchange Center. President Yu Tao and Hristo Beloev, President of University of Ruse, signed the agreement of double-degree program.

Before the ceremony, the two sides had a meeting. Mo Liangjin, Vice President of SSPU, and President Beloev introduced the current development of each university. The two sides had a discussion on cooperation in student exchange, teacher exchange, etc. President Yu hoped that both sides could deepen the collaboration and develop cooperation and exchange in broader fields. President Beloev stated that the two universities share a broad prospect of cooperation and this visit will promote the understanding between the two universities, and facilitate to explore more collaborative possibilities.

During the visit, the delegation, accompanied by Vice President Mo, took a lab tour to Smart Manufacturing Factory Lab, Engineering Training Center, etc. Heads of International Office, President Office and College of Engineering attended the activities as well.
