On the morning of Nov. 13, President Felix Mayer and Program Coordinator Bing Li from University of Applied Languages, SDI Munich (SDI), Germany, visited SSPU. President Yu Tao met with the guests and the two sides held the signing ceremony. President Yu and President Mayer signed the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the two universities.

Before the signing ceremony, the two sides had a meeting. President Yu briefly introduced SSPU orientation, disciplines and programs, strength, internationalization, etc. He stated that both universities share similar orientation and emphasis on practice and international cooperation, and hoped that the two sides could draw on respective strengths and share each other’s resources to explore more opportunities for development through close collaboration. 

President Mayer also expressed the intention of establishing and promoting cooperation with SSPU. Both sides discussed about German language teaching, teacher and student exchange, and so on. Heads of International Office, President Office and College of Arts and Sciences attended the meeting.
