On Dec. 28, the awarding ceremony of 6thHuang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards was held in Beijing.

SSPU won the Excellent School Award. President Yu Tao, on behalf of the university, received the medal and gave a speech at the meeting as representative of Excellent School Award winners.

As a renowned award in the field of vocational education in China, Huang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards, initiated in 2007, commend the organizations and individuals with outstanding contributions to promotion of Huang Yanpei thought on vocational education and the development of China’s vocational education. The 6thHuang Yanpei Vocational Education Awards have 6 categories including Excellent School, Excellent Teacher, Outstanding Advocator, Excellent Theoretical Research Award, etc.

The Excellent School Award is the recognition of SSPU’s orientation—Profession-Oriented Higher Education and its achievements. The university will continue to follow the requirements of building university’s quality culture with SSPU characteristics, promote connotation construction, and enhance comprehensive capabilities.
