Recently, representatives from College of Arts and Sciences of University of Missouri - Kansas City, the U.S., visited SSPU and had a conversation with relevant personnel of SSPU College of Arts and Sciences on 2+2 double degree program. Secretary of College Party Committee Gu Guoxing, Deputy Directors Fang Hong, Hu Zhen and Wang Jifen, heads and teachers of relevant programs in College of Arts and Sciences attended the meeting.

UMKC representatives, including Prof. Monica Mingucci, Director of Applied Language Institute, Kristi Holsinger, Vice Dean of College of Arts and Sciences as well as Director of Asia-Pacific Affairs of International Office, had a discussion with heads of English, Public Relations, Applied Statistics and Applied Chemistry of SSPU. The discussion was to solve the problems occurred in the course matching, and to make a final confirmation on the courses. In the afternoon, UMKC representatives provided consultations to students of Class of 2017 and 2018 who intended to take part in the double-degree program.
