“Grand Vision” English Lecture Series Begin

On the afternoon of Nov. 6, the first lecture of 2019 International Creative Design English lecture series given by Ms. Victoria Campbell, Dean of School of Creative Industry of Universal College of Learning (UCOL), was held at Student Activity Center. Over 100 teachers and students were attracted to the lecture.
As a design educator and graphic designer, Ms. Campbell has been working in the field of design for over 2 decades. The lecture was themed by “Life Hack Design 101”, sharing the lecturer’s rich experience and creative thinking in management, education, design and life. Ms. Campbell expects the students to give ear and eye to their surrounding environment from the flowers and birds to the diversified culture, thus gaining inspirations from them and enjoying the passion brought in life.
"Grand Vision" English Lecture Series, will last for 2 months and invite professors and designers from Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, etc. to give interactive lectures in English every Wednesday afternoon. The lecturers will share typical cases, practical experience and the trend of design in respect to industrial design, fashion design, building environment, visual communication and so on. The Series, organized by School of Applied Arts and Design together with International Cooperation Center for Culture and Technology of 7³ Science Park, is open to the public to elevate people’s creative thinking ability and broaden their horizon in innovation, promoting the concept of Better Design, Better Life.
