On the morning of Dec. 10, Sue Roberts,Associate Provost for Internationalizationof University of Kentucky, USA, visited SSPU. SSPU Vice President Mo Liangjin met with the guest.

Vice President Mo said that the two universities have deepened mutual understanding and reached preliminary consensus on the forms of cooperation through the visits and exchanges since this year. He hoped that both sides could promote all-round and multi-level cooperation and exchanges based on the MOU to be signed. Dr. Roberts extended her gratitude for the hospitality of SSPU and put forward suggestions on relevant cooperation. Both sides has a discussion on student exchange, double degree programs for undergraduates and postgraduates, pathway programs from higher vocational to undergraduate education, teacher training, internship programs for American students in Shanghai, summer school program, etc.

During the visit, Wu Song, Secretary of SSPU Party Committee, also met with Dr. Roberts and expressed welcome and support for the cooperation between the two sides.

Dr. Roberts also visited Intelligent Manufacturing Factory Lab and Engineering Training Center. Heads from International Office, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Economics and Management and School of International Exchange attended the activities.
