SSPU Science Park is officially approved as one of the 11thbatch of National University Science Parks.

SSPU Science Park was established in July 2014, and was recognized as a municipal Mass Innovation Space in Shanghai in August 2016. In September 2019, the Science Park got approved as a cultivation project of University Science Parks in Shanghai. In April 2021, it was listed in the cultivation system for sci-tech innovation and entrepreneurship incubators in Shanghai. With seven years of development, SSPU Science Park’s functional layout is basically improved and completed, not only effectively meeting the demands of developing Shanghai into Five Centers and the needs of the regional industrial development, but also pushing forward the university’s innovation resources integration, sci-tech achievements transformation, sci-tech entrepreneurship incubation, innovative talent training, open and collaborative development.
