On the morning of Dec. 8, the signing ceremony for the agreement on university-enterprise cooperation in the new era between SSPU and Shanghai Electric Group was held at the headquarters of Shanghai Electric Group. Based on the principles of sharing complementary resources, deepening the integration of industry and education, and promoting the development of both sides, the two sides shall deepen cooperation in an all-round way in line with the new tasks and requirements of the new era, and better serve economic and social development. Attendees included Wang Ping, Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (SMEC), Mao Lijuan, Deputy Director of SMEC, Leng Weiqing, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, Liu Ping, Deputy Party Secretary and President of Shanghai Electric Group, Wu Song, SSPU Party Secretary, Xie Huaqing, SSPU President, Ding Li, SSPU Vice President, and Bao Qifan, National Model Worker and Dean of Shanghai Model Worker College.

Xie Huaqing and Liu Ping signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

Bao Qifan and Zhu Zhaokai signed a cooperation agreement on the class of model workers and technical workers on behalf of both parties.

Wang Ping, on behalf of SMEC, congratulated on the signing of the agreement on university-enterprise cooperation in the new era between SSPU and Shanghai Electric Group. Leng Weiqing said that SSPU’s advantage disciplines and programs highly fit the industrial chain of Shanghai Electric Group, thus creating extensive areas for cooperation between the two parties. She hoped that in the new era, both parties can explore a broader cooperation and jointly set a new model for university-enterprise cooperation.

Wu Song said that SSPU will work with Shanghai Electric Group to make concerted efforts and exert their respective advantages to seek breakthroughs in the collaborative training of high-quality technical talents, help build a city featuring the integration of university and enterprise and provide skilled technical talents for the development of Shanghai and the country.
