SSPU Students Win First Prize in Shanghai Undergraduate Physics Tournament

On July 8, the Fifth Shanghai Undergraduate Physics Tournament, which lasted for 3 days, came to a successful end at Shanghai Institute of Technology. 10 SSPU students formed 2 teams and both won the First Prize. Wang Mingjie and Yuan Yijing respectively won the Best Debater of the Opposing Side and the Best Observer.

  


The competition has attracted 25 teams from 12 universities such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc. Each team has been through 9 academic debates in 3 rounds, and 3 teams with the highest scores entered the Finale. 2 teams of SSPU, 2 teams of Shanghai Jiaotong University and 2 teams of Shanghai Institute of Technology successfully got into the Finale. SSPU teams headed by teachers Qi Yanwu and Yu Bin of College of Arts and Sciences eventually made great achievements after 5-month preparation under the guidance and support of the teaching team for College Physics.
