Final of 5th National Contest on Green Supply Chain and Reverse Logistics Design Held at SSPU

The Final of the5th“Yunfeng Cup”National Contest on Green Supply Chain and Reverse Logistics Designwas held at SSPU on October 23. The event was co-hosted by Shanghai Student Affairs Center, Shanghai Employment Promotion Center, Shanghai Logistics Association, Shanghai Logistics Society, Shanghai Operations Research Society and SSPU, and co-organized by SSPU and the School of Management of Shanghai University. Nearly 300 people participated in the event, including leaders, guests, experts from the government and enterprises, as well as teachers and students from participating universities across the country.

  

 

President Xie Huaqing gave an opening speech. He hoped that the contest will provide a platform for those who major in logistics management from universities nationwide to exchange expertise and share experience, jointly improving the overall level of talent training in this field.

  

 

 

The contest kicked off in May 2021, attracting 319 teams from 74 universities covering 18 provinces and cities, including Zhejiang University, Ocean University of China, and Macau University of Science and Technology, etc. Three competing programs of SSPU won one second prize and two third prizes respectively.

  

"Yunfeng Cup"National Contest on Green Supply Chain and Reverse Logistics Design, which has been successfully held for five times, is currently the most influential contest in the field of Reverse Logistics. The contest aims to provide university students around the country with an opportunity to demonstrate their ability to apply what they have learned, and to promote the cultivation of application-oriented, versatile, innovative and skilled talent in the field of Green Logistics. Meanwhile, it also facilitates in-depth exchanges between relevant scholars, experts and participating teams on green supply chain and reverse logistics, pooling wisdom and resources for the country’s green development.
