SSPU Students Win Prizes in Shanghai College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition

Recently, 14 SSPU teams made up of students from School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering participated in the 10thShanghai College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition. The competing themes chosen by students included Intelligent Teaching and Learning Aids, Bionic Machinery, etc. The programs Infrared Intelligent Infusion Set Based on Single Chip Microcomputer, 3D-printed Injection Molds in Class Teaching, Intelligent Meal Delivery Cart for Medical Purpose won the second prizes.

  

 

Shanghai College Students Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition is an annually held municipal tryout for National College Mechanical Innovation Competition. The competition aims to enhance the students’ operational abilities and engineering practical skills, and improve their real working abilities in mechanical design and craftsmanship through innovative thinking meeting the actual needs. The competition this year, themed by “Intelligence · Health”, required the participants to comprehensively apply the design principles and methods learned in the courses like Mechanical Design and Mechanical Principles, and put emphasis on the innovation in the principle, structure and function of their works. Each participating team should submit the model of their work and take part in on-site demonstration, presentation and Q&A.
