Students from School of Applied Arts and Design Win Prizes in International Design Competition

Recently, 2 products, DOAID Wound Guard and Play·Intelligence, respectively designed by students Lan Xin and Zhou Yushan from School of Applied Arts and Design won prizes in Design Concept section of Red Dot Design Award.

 

Red Dot Design Award (Germany), is one of the three major design awards in the world, together with iF Design Award (Germany) and International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA, the US). It is one of the most influential awards in design worldwide. This year, there are 4,110 works from 49 countries participating in the competition, in which 259 designs won the Design Concept Award. The winning rate is only 8%.

 

Following the iF design award won by students of Product Design in 2019, SSPU students won prizes in a high-level international design competition once again.
