Wu Peidong holds a Master’s degree in Laws and is an associate professor. He is currently Deputy Secretary of SSPU Party Committee. 

He has successively served in Shanghai Normal University as Head of Youth League Committee, Deputy Party Secretary of Chinese Language Department, Deputy Party Secretary of College of Humanities, Deputy Director of Students Affairs Department, Vice Dean of Mathematics & Science College, Deputy Director of President Office, Party Secretary of College of Education Science, Party Secretary of College of Education, Party Secretary of College of Humanities and Communications, and Director of Public Communications Department. He has been awarded the titles such as “Shanghai Pace-Setter in the New Long March”, “Outstanding Party Staff of Shanghai Education and Health Departments Party Committee” and “Outstanding Party Staff of Shanghai Municipality”.
