From Dec. 6 to 8, the Final of the 18th iCAN Innovation Contest (iCAN) was held at Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University. Two teams from SSPU School of Energy and Materials stood out from 800 excellent project teams in the finals, and respectively won the national second prize of the innovation track and the national third prize of the entrepreneurship track.
The iCAN Innovation Contest, listed in the Analysis Report of National Contests for University Students was hosted by the Organizing Committee of iCAN Innovation Contest and Shandong University and consisted of three tracks including innovation, entrepreneurship and challenge. There were a total of 32,144 projects from more than 1,500 universities entering for this Contest that covers fields including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, block chain, new energy and new materials, advocating serving the society through scientific and technological innovation and accelerating the cultivation of innovative talents.
