SSPU Students Win First Prize in Huawei ICT Competition 2021-2022 Global Final

On June 25, the 6th Huawei ICT Competition 2021-2022 Global Final came to a successful end. The competition this year has attracted 150,000 students from over 2,000 universities and colleges in 85 countries and regions. There were 132 college student teams from 43 countries and regions standing out from national and regional tryouts and entering the global final which was held online due to the pandemic. SSPU team represented by three students majoring in Network Engineering and Data Science and Big Data Technology won the first prize with the highest score in Practice-Network section. The team was guided by SSPU teacher Jiang Wenrong from School of Computer and Information Engineering as well as enterprise advisors Li Huacheng and Han Shiliang from YESLAB.

  

 

In March 2021, Huawei ICT Competition was included in 2020 ranking list of competitions for collegestudents in China for the first time and recognized as one of the competitions with high quality and high value by China Association of Higher Education. The Competition, an A-level national competition, was still included in 2021 competition list.
