The founding conference of Shanghai Pudong Automotive Electronic Innovation and Intelligent Industry Alliance was held in Pudong Enterprise Center on March 29. As the member organization of alliance, the Vice-President Xu Yufang led the delegation to participate in this meeting.

The leaders of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Pudong New Area made speech in the meeting, and granted the Member Certificate to our university. Xu Yufang, on behalf of our university, signed the strategic agreement of joint laboratory establishment with Mr. Xiong Weiming, the General Manager of United Automotive Electronic Systems Co. Ltd (UAES).

This alliance is jointly built by UAES, National Economic and Social Informatization Promotion Center of Pudong New Area and Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, under the direction of Science and Economic Commission of Pudong New Area. There are 30 member organizations in first batch, covering the well-known enterprise and public institutions, universities and science research institution, industry organization and industry part, at home and abroad, in the field of whole vehicle control, parts, integrated circuits and insert software. The UAES, as the president unit of alliance, is the leading enterprise of Pudong automotive electronics industry. Our university will set up the joint laboratory with it to implement the talent training and technology research.
Yu Leilin (Director of President Office), Liu Xiaohang (Director of Research Administration Office), Cao Jianqing (Director of College of Engineering), Liu Huijuan (vice Director of Academic Affairs Office) and presidents and directors of relevant schools of College of Engineering also attended this conference.
