From March 30 to 31, the second session of second meeting of China Renewable Resources Industry Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance and Academic Annual Meeting 2017 was held at Dali, Yunnan. This meeting was supported by Shanghai Cooperative Center for WEEE Recycling of our university, and attended by more than 240 persons, including the leaders and academicians from Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Yunnan Science and Technology Agency, Yunnan Institute of Science and Technology, Dali People’s Government and The Nonferrous Metals Society of China, the members of council of renewable resources alliance, members of experts committee, and representatives from corporate, scientific research institution and universities from renewable resources field.

The meeting reviewed and approved the“Proposal for joint establishment of new platform of waste electrical and electronic product”. This platform is led by Renewable Resources Alliance, gathers 12 research and production organizations to establish the Collaborative Innovation Center of Shanghai Electronic Product Wastes Recycling, including Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, Tsinghua University, Nankai University, China Academy of Environmental Science, CAS Ecology Center and China ENRIN.

During the meeting, Professor Wang Jingwei, the Director of Shanghai Cooperative Center for WEEE Recycling of our university made the report titled as“EPOXY Recycling Technology”, and discussed with the guests deeply, and the discussion will provide basis for cooperating with Alliance to embrace and build the industry chain and promote the production-research cooperation and transformation of scientific result during“13thfive-year plan”.

Mr. Armin Kienle, the part-time professor of the Center and the CEO of Germany TechProtect Company also made the report titled as“Differences and similarities of recycling resource industry management and collection between Germany and China”, which gained enthusiastic responses.

This meeting not only drawn on collective wisdom, absorbed all useful ideas, and agglomerated mental efforts, but also sought common development and forged ahead in unity. During“13th Five Year Plan”, the recycling resource alliance will take new development concept as the guide, and deeply implement the innovation-driven strategy, and speed up the organic integration of chain of innovation, industry and capital in recycling resource field, and accelerate to push the innovation of knowledge, technology and coordination, so as to greatly boost the critical and common technology breakthrough to lead the industry transformation and upgrading.
