Li Bin and Hu Shuangqian, the first batch of Shanghai Craftsmen were invited to make a fascinating ideological and political lesson for our students in the afternoon of April, 19:“Craftsman Road--The Making of An Craftsman”.

This lesson was made in form of interview. Severn Craftsmen, Libing, (the General Technologist, the Chief of Digital Control Section of Shanghai Electric Hydraulics & Pneumatics Co., Ltd., the National Model Worker and the Vice-President of Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions), Mr.Hu Shuangqian (the National Model Worker and the Senior Technician of Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing co., LTD), Shen Xingguo, (the National Model Worker, the Master of Shanghai Arts and Crafts and the Senior Technician of Shanghai Laofengxiang Co., Ltd), Hu Zhenqiu, (the National Model Worker, Workshop Director of Shanghai ShenZhou Vehicle Energy Saving & Environmental Protection Co., Ltd.), Yu Jianmin (the National May lst Labor Medal Winner and the Engineer of Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator co. LTD ), Zhan Zhenghui (the National May lst Labor Medal Winner, Art Designer and Animator of Shanghai Animation Film Studio) and Miao Jian (the National Technology Expert and the Chief Technician of Shanghai Aerospace Control Technology Institute), shared the mystery of success on common posts and their experience.

This interview was divided into three chapters:“Perseverance”,“Precision”and“Innovation”. The chapter Perseverance described that how Li Bin and Yu Jianmin persevered at their own post over past 36 years and how they overcame the difficulties encountered in their works, as well as their emotion of "Family-country”; the chapter“Precision”explained the spirit of preciseness, concentration and perfection embodied in these“Craftsmen”through the experiences of Hu Shuangqian, Zhang Zhenhui and Miao Jian; and in the chapter“Innovation”, Hu Zhenqiu and Shen Guoxing shared their own working experience to show that to be an Craftsman needs to keep studying, thinking, and innovating and overcome various difficulties in the work.

This interview was one of reports of“Craftsmen in China”. And it was held in the 400-people report hall of information center, and more than 400 teachers and students attended.
