Recently, 2017 China Exhibition Education Forum was held at Haikou, of which the topic was exhibition education innovation and practice under international background. Our university won the“2016 China Exhibition Excellence College Award (Undergraduate group)”granted by China Convention and Exhibition Society. Gu Yingkang, the Head of Exhibition Economics and Management Department of School of Economics and Management, was invited to participate in the forum, and shared the concept and experience of our talent training with present experts and scholars in the“Exhibition Education Forum Joint Conference”and discussed the new ideas and methods under new situation.

This forum was jointly sponsored by China Convention and Exhibition Society, Haikou Municipal People's Government, Hainan University and MOE Tourism Management Teaching Committee. This forum discussed such topics as“China exhibition talent training and international cooperation in running school”and“exhibition teaching innovation and practice”under combination with“13th Five Year Plan”and“One Belt And One Road”development strategy, and set up several parts including innovation and research on international cooperation in running school, exhibition teaching achievement communication meeting and teaching competition, abstracting more than 180 domestic universities and colleges.
