On April 28, Shanghai Qualification for CAD Mechanical Design of the 45thWorld Skills Competition was held at Minhang campus of Shanghai Dianji University. Cai Jiahui, student of College of International Vocational Education, was selected into Shanghai delegation with the highest score in the qualification competition.
Both Cai Jiahui and Zhang Zhezhe of College of International Vocational Education, under the guidance of Chen Xiang and Shen Weijun, participated in a two-week highly intensive training at municipal level. Cai Jiahui ranked first and officially joined Shanghai delegation. He will take part in the national competition held in Guangzhou in the end of June, competing for his ticket to the 45thWorld Skills Competition in Kazan, Russia, on behalf of China.
The Competition, held every two years, is the largest and the most influential skills competition with the highest reputation in the world. It is honored as “the Olympics of World Skills”, representing world-class excellence in vocational skills. And it is also an important platform for exhibition and exchange of vocational skills among members of World Skills Organisation.
