On the morning of May 16, signing ceremony between SSPU and Kwassui Women’s University was held at Meeting Room 207 of Building 19. President Yu Tao and Takashi Yuguchi, President of Kwassui Women’s University, signed the Memorandum of Understanding and other attached agreements for renewal in regard to teacher and student exchange, double-degree program and short-term student exchange. 

Before the ceremony, the two sides had a discussion. President Yu mainly introduced the history, development and internationalization of SSPU, reviewed the cooperative achievements gained by both sides since 2013, and expressed gratitude to Kwassui for their great support for teacher and student exchange. He also looked forward to further enhancing the cooperation, sharing resources and broadening exchange and collaboration between the two sides. President Takashi Yuguchi remarked that the two sides, sharing a broad cooperative prospect, enhanced mutual understanding and explored new cooperation through this meeting. Both sides discussed and reached a consensus on student internship, Shanghai Summer School and teacher exchange, etc.

During the visit, accompanied by President Yu, the delegation visited Student Center, School of Applied Arts & Design and Smart Manufacturing Factory Lab. Heads and relevant teachers of International Office, President Office, College of Arts and Sciences and School of International Exchange (Office of International Student Affairs) attended the activities.
