On May 19, the first HSK Chinese Proficiency Test of 2018 was successfully concluded at SSPU. 63 examinees including students from 11 countries (South Korea, the United States, India, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Belgium，Russia, and Mongolia) took the test. The number of the examinees reached its peak of single HSK test.

Since 2014 when the Chinese Test Center was established at SSPU, a large number of foreigners who study, live and work in Shanghai and surrounding provinces and cities in China have been attracted to attend the exam.
