From May 21 to 24, the 2ndChina Thermophysical Property Conference was held at SSPU. The conference was hosted by Thermophysical Property Committee under Chinese Society for Measurement (SCM) and organized by Shanghai Polytechnic University (SSPU), Shanghai Engineering Research Center of Advanced Thermal Functional Materials, and Shanghai Key Laboratory for Application and Evaluation of Engineering Materials. Members of Thermophysical Property Committee under SCM, over 350 experts, scholars and graduates in the field of Thermophysical Property from 89 institutions attended the conference.

SSPU President Prof. Xie Huaqing, and Prof. Zhang Xing who is Vice Chairman of Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Director of Thermophysical Property Committee under SCM, and a professor of Tsinghua University, addressed the conference. Researcher Chen Lidong from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics under Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Zhang Xing from Institute of Engineering Thermophysics under School of Aerospace Engineering of Tsinghua University, and Prof. Yang Ronggui from Huazhong University of Science and Technology respectively gave a report.

The 2nd China Thermophysical Property Conference set up 5 branch venues. 3 keynote reports, 30 invited reports and 169 oral reports were delivered during the conference.

China Thermophysical Property Conference, held every three years, is a significant academic conference in the field of thermophysical property in China. The conference is a platform to share the latest achievements in thermophysical property testing technologies and theoretical characterization methods.
