On the morning of January 20, Wang Leyi, General Manager of Shanghai Creative City Technology and Development Co., Ltd. and Deputy Director of Sino-Italian Innovation Center, and Huang Fucong, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Creative City Technology and Development Co., Ltd. visited SSPU. Vice President Ding Li met with the guests. The two sides had a discussion on the cooperation between SSPU and University of Genoa, Italy.
Ding Li expressed welcome to the guests. He said that carrying out Sino-foreign cooperative education and all kinds of cooperation between the two universities is in line with the development needs of both sides and has bright prospects. He hoped to formulate the detailed cooperation plan and implement the cooperation as soon as possible. Li Ning, Vice Dean of School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, Cui Li, Head of Mechanical Engineering, and He Yu'an, Head of Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, respectively introduced the School and the programs.
Wang Leyi and Huang Fucong conveyed the strong willingness of University of Genoa to carry out all-round cooperation with SSPU. They introduced the cooperation intentions of the university in terms of Sino-foreign cooperative education, joint labs, co-construction of industrial parks, teacher and student exchange, etc.
The two sides discussed and reached broad consensus on Sino-foreign cooperative education at the undergraduate level in Mechanical Engineering, the signing of cooperation agreements, joint robotic lab, co-construction of industrial parks, joint scientific research and joint training of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students.
Relevant persons in charge of International Office, School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, and the heads of Mechanical Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering attended the meeting.
