On the evening of March 18, as one of the events of 2022 SSPU Global Partnership Week, the study abroad fair of Kristianstad University (HKR), Sweden, was held online. Over 160 students from SSPU School of Computer and Information Engineering, and program coordinators of SSPU International Office and School of Computer and Information Engineering attended the event.
Ms. Cai Lin, International Coordinator of HKR, briefed the students on the university profile and relevant majors, and then introduced the 3+1 and 2+2 double degree programs, progression programs from bachelor to master, exchange programs, etc. During the meeting, students raised questions about HKR’s training mode, campus environment, living conditions, etc. And Ms. Cai replied all the questions in details.
Kristianstad University (HKR) is located in southern Sweden. The university was founded in 1977, but its roots can be traced back to 1835. Currently there are about 14,000 students at the university. SSPU and HKR have signed the cooperation agreement. Since 2016, 8 students in 4 batches from SSPU School of Computer and Information Engineering participated in the exchange program in Sweden, among whom 6 finished their study in the 3+1 double degree program and obtained Bachelor’s degrees from both SSPU and HKR.
This event of HKR is part of 2022SSPU Global Partnership Week. 2022SSPU Global Partnership Week will be held online through March this year, including Program Day and Academic Salon. The Program Day, aiming at promoting student overseas exchanges, provides an opportunity for SSPU global partners to give study abroad fairs or lectures to SSPU students online. The events of Academic Salon are organized by SSPU colleges and schools, including online international conferences, academic seminars, lectures, etc. Experts and professors from SSPU global partners, and other domestic and overseas scholars in related fields will be invited to participate in the events.
