SSPU Teachers Win Prizes in 2nd Shanghai Teaching Innovation Competition for University Teachers

Recently, the 2nd Shanghai Teaching Innovation Competition for University Teachers was held online. Teacher Meng Qi from SSPU School of Economics and Management, Teacher Liang Bo from School of Resources and Environmental Engineering and Teacher Gong Yumei from School of Computer and Information Engineering respectively won the first prize in the section for teachers with senior titles, the section for teachers with associate senior titles and the section for teachers with intermediate titles or below in local universities. SSPU was awarded as Excellent Organizer.

  

There were 105 courses from 37 universities competing this year. Themed by “Promote Teaching Innovation, Train First-class Talents”, the competition aims to push forward the teaching reform in higher education, promote the innovative development that integrates information technology with teaching and education, and build a platform to share exemplary cases in teaching innovation among university teachers.

  

 

Standing out from competitive contestants and winning prizes in the competition fully embodies the innovative teaching ability of SSPU teachers. It encourages the teachers to be creative in teaching, to elevate the teaching quality in classes, to explore new teaching methods, and to learn from experience. They will become more motivated and active in the reform of classroom teaching and the quality and ability of talent training will be further improved.
