SSPU Student Liang Jun Wins Bronze in WorldSkills Competition 2022

On Oct. 17, WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition Goyang came to a successful end. SSPU student Liang Jun participated in the web technology event and won the bronze medal for China. It's the first time that a Chinese competitor has won a prize in the web technology event of WorldSkills Competition.

  

WorldSkills Competition, known as the "Olympics" for vocational skills, is held every two years, representing the world's advanced level in the development of vocational skills. WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition is held as the official competition in Europe, Asia and America from the middle of September to late November this year. China has sent 146 delegates made up of competitors, experts and interpreters to participate in 34 events held in 7 countries including Germany, Switzerland, Republic of Korea and Japan respectively. SSPU student Liang Jun,as a Chinese competitor, participated in the web technology event in Goyang, Republic of Korea, from Oct. 13 to Oct. 16.

  

 

The web technology event is characterized by high skill requirements, a large number of participants and fierce competition. This event requires the competitors to master skills of full stack development in the website design and development, mainly including front-end script module, back-end application module, content management system module and speed module. The candidates should not only have outstanding professional ability and comprehensive quality, but also be able to deal with on-site problems calmly and flexibly. After four days of intense competition, Liang Jun finally won the bronze medal, setting the best record in the web technology event for China.
