On the morning of Feb. 24, the delegation of Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU)from the UK visited SSPU. The delegation included Dr. Julia Wang, Director of International Relations, Fang Qiwen and Xiao Yani, China Engagement Officers of International Relations Team. 

Prof. Wu Song, Secretary of SSPU Party Committee met with the guests. Prof. Wu warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed sincere congratulations to the 200th anniversary of LJMU. He hoped that the two universities could expand collaboration and exchange and push forward the high-level, high-quality and in-depth development of the cooperation together.

During the visit, the delegation had a meeting with heads of SSPU International Office, School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, School of Computer and Information Engineering, and School of Economics and Management. The two sides discussed and reached consensuses on cooperation in double degree programs for Bachelor and Master, combined Bachelor-Master degree programs, joint education of Ph.D. students, pre-Master programs, student exchange, teacher mobility, joint research, etc.

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) was founded in 1823. LJMU consists of 19 schools within five faculties including Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies, Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Health and Faculty of Science. The university offers over 250 programs covering undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. education to 27,000 students.
