Signing Ceremony Held between SSPU and NIET Group

On the morning of June 5, the signing ceremony between SSPU and National Institute of Education Group (NIET Group), Australia, was held at SSPU Academic Exchange Center. 



SSPU President Xie Huaqing and NIET Group CEO Troy Yue signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on behalf ofthe two sides. Qiao Liqing, Director of SSPU International Office, and ZhangJing, Senior Education Manager and Greater China Team Leader (Education) of Australian Trade and Investment Commission, witnessed the ceremony.




Prior to the signing ceremony, the two sides had a meeting. President Xie welcomed the delegation led by CEO Troy Yue. He expressed the pleasure for the two institutions to sign the agreement and establish official cooperative relationship based on previous exchanges.He hoped that both sides could work toward the same objective of promoting student development, provide the students with more paths and choices for theirgrowth through educational cooperation and help them not only possess solid skills and knowledge but also become more competitive in future employment. Andthe win-win cooperation will be achieved by both sides on the basis of friendship and mutual trust. 


CEO Troy Yue said building acooperative relationship with SSPU is of great significance. It is hoped that the two sides could jointly seek innovation in education, offer the students an international platform to broaden their global vision, and train excellent backup talents for the industry and enterprises together. The cooperation isexpected to be continuously expanded and deepened and gain fruitful achievements.




During the meeting, Qiao Liqing, Director of SSPU International Office, Zhuo Wuyang, Dean of SSPU School of Economics and Management, and Phoebe Huang, International Recruitment Office of NIET Group respectively reported the progress and contents of the cooperation.Under the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation in university articulation programs, paid internship in Australia for students majoring inHospitality Management, student exchange, preparatory courses, Australian students to visit China, teacher training, etc. 


During the visit, the delegation also visited the practical training base for Hospitality Management students. Heads and representatives from International Office, School of Economics and Management, and College of International Vocational Education attended the activities above.
