On June 25, the opening ceremony of Teacher Training of Broward College in China was held in SSPU. President of Broward College David Armstrong, President of SSPU Yu Tao and Vice President Mo Liangjin attended the ceremony.

President Yu Tao remarked that SSPU teachers could get familiar with American teaching mode through the training, and expressed gratitude to Broward College for their support for SSPU Sino-US cooperative programs.

Broward College will dispatch 4 foreign teachers to SSPU from June 25 to June 27 to conduct the training for teachers of their partner universities and colleges in China. The training includes teaching syllabus design, academic reading and writing, D2L system management, etc. 20 SSPU teachers of Sino-US cooperative programs, teachers from Tianjin University of Commerce and from Beijing representative office of Broward College attended the training. The training aims to promote BC program teachers’ teaching skills and efficiency in English classes and to enhance the exchange among BC partners in China.
