From June 14 to June 20, SSPU delegation headed by Vice President Xu Yufa visited National United Aerospace University, Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, and Kazakhstan Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University, and had discussions with the three universities on further cooperation, exchange and new cooperative fields.

On June 15, the delegation visited National United Aerospace University and were warmly welcomed by the CEO Daria Vorobyeva. Vice CEO Dmitry Slezkin, Mikhail Trifonov, representative of Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation, Irina Sarkisova, representative of Moscow State University of Technology “STANKIN” attended the meeting. CEO Daria briefed the main frame and work of National United Aerospace University, and expressed the intention of cooperation with SSPU. Vice President Xu introduced SSPU and stated that SSPU has the tradition of collaborating with enterprises, and hoped that the industry-university collaboration for training excellent students between the two sides would be well enhanced after the conversation.

On June 18, the delegation visited Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. Rector Yulia Antokhina, Vice Rector Konstain Losev, and Yulia Makarova, Head of International Cooperation Division, met with the delegation and had a conversation. Rector Yulia Antokhina remarked that the exchange and cooperation between the two sides would be deepened in the fields of continuing education and skill training. Alexander Bestugin, Director of Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Communications of the university briefed the basic information of communications, radio, electronics and laser, showing a great interest in research cooperation between the two universities, and invited SSPU teachers to the international academic forum of communications and electronics hosted by the university. SSPU Vice President Xu Yufa expressed gratitude to the university for dispatching teachers to SSPU as foreign experts, and hoped to deepen collaboration in scientific research and student competitions.

On June 19, the delegation visited Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University. The two sides respectively made a brief introduction and exchanged ideas on cooperation. After the meeting, the delegation had a lab tour at the School of Engineering. On June 20, the two universities signed a cooperative agreement. Rector Marat Syrlybayev remarked that Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University and SSPU signed a Memorandum of Understanding in January 2018 and a double-degree agreement this time, hoping that the meeting can lay a solid foundation for the collaboration between the two sides. Vice President Yu said that to further develop exchange and cooperation, broader collaboration in scientific research and teacher exchange would be necessary besides double-degree program. SSPU delegation and representatives of Pavlodar State Pedagogical University also had a meeting, and SSPU invited the Rector of the University to 2018 Global Partnership Week for further cooperation.
