On the afternoon of June 26, Dr. Zhou Xiangqian, Chairman of German-Chinese Alliance for Industry 4.0 and Dr. Wang Qi, Chief Representative (Shanghai) of the Alliance, visited SSPU. Vice President Xu Yufang met and had a meeting with the delegation. Heads and teachers of International Office and College of Engineering attended the meeting.

Vice President Xu introduced the orientation and characteristics of SSPU, the exploration and practice for the development strategy ofMade in China 2025andIndustry 4.0, the work and achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship and the cooperation with universities and enterprises in Germany. She hoped that through further conversations, the both sides could develop cooperation in scientific research, talents cultivation, innovation and entrepreneurship, teacher training, etc. Dr. Zhou and Dr. Wang briefed the basic information of German-Chinese Alliance for Industry 4.0 and possible collaboration forms. The two sides had a preliminary discussion and reached a consensus on cooperation.

After the meeting, accompanied by Prof. Yang Jinghui, head of Industrial Engineering, the delegation visited Smart Manufacturing System Integration Lab and exchanged ideas with relevant teachers.
