On Oct. 16, the 3rdChinese “7³ Cup” International Personal Transport Tools Innovative Design Competition was held at SSPU.

Vice President Xu Yufang delivered a speech. She stated that the competition was in line with the strategy of Made in China 2025, which would effectively promote demand-oriented innovative design of industrial products, lead the innovation of industrial chain in intelligent manufacturing, and facilitate to transform and upgrade traditional industry. SSPU actively participated in and organized the competition, aiming at further exploring the construction of five-in-one collaborative innovative system of government, industry, education, research and application to develop a new complex talent cultivation mode through comprehensive and in-depth university-enterprise collaboration.

On the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee issued the letter of appointment to Secretary Office and Deputy Secretary General. 

In the guidance of China Bicycle Association, the competition was hosted by China Bicycle Industry Information Center, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Science & Technology Development Center, Shanghai Science and Technology Exchange Center, organized by 7³ Science Park, and co-organized by SSPU 7³ Technology Management Co., Ltd., Design Shanghai Promotion Center, Technology Transfer Center of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai Maritime University, and Shanghai DianJi University. The significant increase of the co-organizing universities, associations and enterprises compared to previous years shows the growth of influence and participation of the competition.
