On April 19, the launching ceremony of Erasmus+KA2 Project—Developing Future-oriented Academic Curricula in Teacher Education with Innovative Methodologies for Nex-Gen Asian HEIs (FRACTION)was held at SSPU. Ms. Qiao Liqing, FRACTION Program Coordinator and Director of SSPU International Office, presided over the ceremony. Ms. Hu Zhen, project member and Vice Dean of SSPU School of Foreign Languages and Cultural Communication, other project members, and postgraduates as project trainees attended the ceremony.

Director Qiao firstly welcomed the project members and the trainees, introduced the basic information of FRACTION, the composition of the faculty team, the trainees and the project progress, and made general arrangements to the follow-up curriculum trainings.

FRACTION project was jointly applied by 13 universities from 7 countries including SSPU and universities from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, India, Vietnam, etc. The project aims to enhance the trainings for professional teachers, develop courses that adopt innovative teaching methods at postgraduate level in education field, and provide high quality professional practice accreditation. It helps the trainees to better adapt to the increasingly complicated and diversified educational and social environment, provide them with an effective and innovative class learning experience, improve their comprehensive education ability and enhance the employment competitiveness.
