On June 7, the delegation of Wayne State University (WSU), the U.S., visited SSPU. The delegation included Huajing Maske, Assistant Vice President for International Partnerships, Ali Abolmaali, Dean of College of Engineering, and EceYaprak, Chair of Division of Engineering Technology and Committee Member ofABET Accreditation.

During the visit, Prof. Wu Song, Secretary of SSPU Party Committee metwith the guests. Prof. Wu Song expressed welcome to the delegation and hoped thatthe two universities keep deepening and expanding cooperation and carry outhigh level, high quality and in-depth cooperation by pushing forward collaborationin Master’s double degree program, student exchange, teacher mobility, visiting scholar program, ABET accreditation, etc.

In the morning, the delegation had a meeting with heads of SSPU International Office, Graduate Affairs Office, School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering and School of Computer and Information Engineering. The two universities further exchanged ideas on joint education of master and doctoral students, student exchange, combined Bachelor-Master program, teacher mobility and so on.

In the afternoon, the delegation met with some Engineering students of SSPU. They gave an introduction of student exchange program, answered thestudents’ questions and interviewed the students who are interested in theexchange program. They also visited the Smart Manufacturing Factory Lab and Engineering Training and Innovation Education Center.
