Objectives

This major cultivates high-quality application-oriented talents who master the basic theories and methods of physics, possess a solid mathematical foundation and experimental skills, as well as good humanistic literacy, moral integrity and scientific literacy. After receiving preliminary training in scientific research, these talents can either pursue further studies in the field of physics or in related scientific and technological fields such as photoelectric detection and semiconductor applications, or engage in scientific research, teaching, technology development and related management work in the above-mentioned industries. They should also have a sense of innovation, interdisciplinary cooperation capabilities and social responsibility.
