The FRACTION: Developing future-oriented academic curricula in Teacher Education with innovative methodologies for Nex-Gen Asian HEIs under EU project Erasmus+: Higher Education-International Capacity Building, is an international project successfully applied for in 2019 by 13 higher education institutions from seven countries including SSPU and universities in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, India, and Vietnam. The project introduces the latest graduate teaching outcomes from universities in Germany and Spain. With appropriate approaches in teacher training, it assists professional teachers in enhancing their teaching theory and practical skills.
The Center of Teaching Excellence will be operated as a sub-center of the university's Teacher Development Center at SSPU, and it is dedicated to fostering the continuous enhancement of SSPU faculty's capabilities and the high-quality development of postgraduate education. CTE is an important part and critical base for the implementation of the EU project Erasmus+: Higher Education-International Capacity Building. The center was jointly funded and established by SSPU and the responsible unit of the EU project. In addition to serving the teaching and research tasks of the School of Foreign Languages and Cultural Communication, it has also provided substantial software and hardware support for the smooth implementation of the project. After the completion of the EU project, CTE continues its operation and plays an even greater role in talent development and community service.
