On June 24, 2024, the inauguration ceremony for the Joint Research Lab on New Robots Generation for the Industry was held andProfessor Wang Zhifeng, Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Control Engineering, and Associate Professor Fulvio Mastrogiovanni from the University of Genoa, Italy, unveiled the plate. Based on the existing joint laboratories within the university, both parties agree to make concerted efforts to further expand industry-university collaboration and introduce enterprise resources and platforms. The joint research lab will engage in joint scientific research in areas like robotic applications, mechanical design, and industrial vision. The lab will also take the initiative to explore possibilities for industry-university-research applications, aiming to create a model for joint laboratory construction that empowers the cultivation of applied talents at the undergraduate and higher levels in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
