On the morning of June 18, Rick Shangraw, CEO of Arizona State University (ASU) Enterprise Partners, Águeda Benito, Chief Academic Officer of Sterling Education Development Ltd. (Sterling), and Li Siyan, Consultant of Sterling visited SSPU.
Wu Song, Secretary of SSPU Party Committee, and President Yu Tao met with the delegation. Secretary Wu welcomed the guests and expressed the gratitude to ASU and Sterling for their support and efforts to the joint university to be applied.
President Yu, Vice President Mo Liangjin and the delegation had a meeting in which both sides reviewed the current development of the joint university, heard the reports given by the heads of each program, and discussed about the introduction of international accreditations and the resources of more enterprises into the training plans.
Representatives of International Office, President Office, College of Engineering and School of Applied Arts & Design also attended the meeting.
