Shanghai Summer School is a brand program for international education cooperation and exchange initiated by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. It aims to build an educational, scientific technological and people-to-people exchange platform for languages and cultures worldwide, attracting outstanding international students to experience China, learn Chinese and pursue studies in Shanghai. This year, SSPU continues to host two themed programs: Chinese Culinary Culture and Craft Program organized by SSPU International Education Center, and Green Development & Thermal Functional Materials run by the School of Energy and Materials. In the next three weeks, participants will take part in intangible cultural heritage study tours, Chinese culinary workshops, academic exchanges, enterprise site visits and a series of cultural experience activities. They will gain a full scale insight into Shanghai’s openness and diversity, and witness the integration of traditional culture and modern science and technology.
