On the afternoon of July 1, Graduation Exhibition of School of Applied Arts and Design themed by “Creativity·Harmony” was opened at International Cooperation Center for Culture and Technology of 7³ Science Park. Wu Song, Secretary of SSPU CPC Party Committee declared the opening of the exhibition.
30 excellent graduation design works made by graduates of Product Design, Visual Communication Design, Environment Design, Industrial Design and Digital Media Art were displayed at the exhibition. SSPU leaders Secretary Wu Song, President Yu Tao, Deputy Secretary Zou Longfei, representatives of relevant departments, teachers, students and parents of School of Applied Arts and Design attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of relevant institutions including Yu Hongmei, Deputy Director of Jing’an District Commission of Commerce, Valtero Canepa, Vice Chairman of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Wang Rihua, Chairman of Shanghai Industrial Design Association, experts and scholars from East China University of Science and Technology, Donghua University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai Normal University, etc.
President Yu Tao addressed the ceremony in which he said that the theme “Creativity·Harmony” shows the University’s emphasis on university-industry cooperation, university-enterprise collaboration, and cooperation between universities and insistence on internationalization. Meanwhile, the attendance of Mr. Canepa also demonstrates his support to our work, making the graduation exhibition a window for Sino-foreign cultural exchange.
Activities such as the signing and unveiling ceremony of university-industry cooperation and university-enterprise collaboration were held at the event.
