On Aug. 9, the Cooperation Signing Ceremony between SSPU Industrial Design Development Co., Ltd. and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce was heldatthe International Cooperation Center for Culture and Technology of 7³ Science Park. Zhang Zhan, Chairman of SSPU Industrial Design Development Co., Ltd. and Valtero Canepa, Vice Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce signed the Memorandumof Understanding, which marked that Sino-Italian Exchange Center for Cultural Creativity moves intosubstantial implementation phase.
Sino-Italian Exchange Center for Cultural Creativity is a cooperative communication platform jointly constructed by SSPU and Shanghai Promotion Center for City of Design (a member of Sino-Italian Cultural Cooperation Mechanism) under the guidance of the cooperation mechanism. With the support of relevant municipal and district governmental departments in Shanghai as well as that of the Italian Consulate in Shanghai, the Center aims to serve the design industry, design education, technological innovation, and industry-education-research cooperationbetweenShanghai and Italy.
The Center will introduce excellent design resources from Italy, and gather schools,
enterprises and designers together to conduct various international design exchange, education training and industrial cooperation, which is of vital significance for the discipline construction, talent cultivation and social services at SSPU.Xu Yufang, Vice President of SSPU, Lin Xiaojue, Director of Jing'an District Commercial Committee, Li Chunnong, Chairman of Shanghai Jinggong Group, Bartolomeo Lamonarca, Consul of the Italian Consulate in Shanghai, and members of the Board of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce witnessed the signing ceremony.
