Recently, 2019 Industry-University-Research Conference for Reverse Logistics was held at Suining, Sichuan Province. SSPU Industry-University-Research Base for Reverse Logistics was awarded the honorary title as Excellent Industry-University-Research Base by China Society of Logistics again.

Based on SSPU Type II Plateau Discipline and the discipline of Management Engineering and Sciences, the Industry-University-Research Base for Reverse Logistics established a standardized work team for reverse logistics under Logistics Standardization Technology Committee (SAC/TC269/WG4) and held National Contest on Reverse Logistics Design for two consecutive years. The Base also released Shanghai Reverse Logistics Indices (SRLI) (Motor Vehicle), and formulated 5 national and industrial standards of reverse logistics. It has also cooperated with representative enterprises in the fields of Logistics and Manufacturing to provide students with practical bases for teaching and scientific research, offering a good opportunity for postgraduates to do researches, and for undergraduates to improve their practical abilities.
