From Nov.29 to Dec. 2, the China tryout of 2025 (Singapore) International Business Exhibition Planning Competition and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Culture, Tourism and Exhibition of 2024 China University Business Elite Challenge was held at Guangzhou Vocational College of Technology & Business. The competitions were jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Commercial Sub-Council, China Camber of International Commerce Commercial Chamber of Commerce (CCOIC), and the Commerce Economy Association of China. The project Digitalized Future, Smart Furniture –A Research Report of Digitalization of China International Furniture Fair finished bySSPU teachers and students of the program of Exhibition Economy and Management, won the national champion, setting a new record of SSPU in this competition.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for Culture, Tourism and Exhibition of China University Business Elite Challenge has been successfully held for 18 consecutive years since its establishment in 2007, and has been included in the National Competition Ranking for College Students of China Association of Higher Education for 4 years in a row since 2021. The competition has produced a wide and positive impact in the field of higher education and all walks of life in the community and has largely contributed to the talents cultivation and innovative development of China's culture, tourism and exhibition industry. After the qualification competitions of the National Finals, 217 projects out of 4,788 projects were selected to enter the China tryout of 2025 (Singapore) International Business Exhibition Planning Competition.
